We respect your privacy and make it easy to delete your account and data when needed.
How to Delete Your Account
There are two ways to delete your Henga account:
Option 1: Delete Your Account In-App
You can delete your account directly from the Henga app by following these steps:
- Open the Henga app on your device
- Go to the main menu by tapping the menu icon in the top-left corner
- Select "Privacy"
- Tap on "General" tab
- Select "Delete Account"
- Confirm your choice when prompted
Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.
Option 2: Request Account Deletion by Email
If you prefer, you can request account deletion by sending an email to:info@critix.ai
Please include the following information:
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- The phone number associated with your Henga account
- A brief reason for deletion (optional)
Our team will process your request and delete your account within 7 working days. We'll send you a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
What Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:
- Your profile information (name, year of birth, gender, status)
- Your phone number and authentication details
- Your profile photo
- Your location data
- All messages and conversations
- Blocking and reporting data
Note: We may retain certain information for legal compliance purposes, such as records of terms acceptance or safety issues. This data is minimized and anonymized where possible.
Partial Data Deletion
If you wish to delete specific pieces of your data without deleting your entire account, you can:
- Delete individual messages and conversations within the app
- Update or remove your profile information through the app's profile settings
- Email us at info@critix.ai with specific requests about data you'd like removed
For partial data deletion requests submitted by email, please clearly specify which data you want deleted. We will process these requests within 7 working days.
