These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Henga (the "App"), operated by Critix Media Oy ("we", "our", or "us"), a company based in Finland. By accessing or using Henga, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Henga.
- By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
- We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate our age policy.
2. Account Creation & Responsibility
- You create an account using your phone number.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
- You may not use a false identity or impersonate others.
3. User Content
- You may upload content such as photos, a status message, and chat messages.
- You retain ownership of your content but grant us a limited license to display it within the App for its intended use.
- You are solely responsible for the content you share.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share or promote illegal, violent, hateful, or sexually explicit content.
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, or abuse others.
- Use Henga for spamming, scams, or commercial solicitation.
- Attempt to access accounts or data that is not yours.
- Use automated tools to scrape, collect, or interfere with the app.
We reserve the right to suspend or ban users who violate these guidelines.
5. Location & Messaging Features
- Henga connects users based on approximate location (not exact GPS).
- You can send a message to any user, but they must accept before a full two-way chat begins.
- You may block or report other users at any time for safety.
6. Account Deletion
- You can delete your account and all related data through the app.
- After deletion, your data will be removed from our systems within 30 days, except where legally required.
7. Privacy & Data Protection
- Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- By using Henga, you consent to the collection, storage, and use of your data as described.
8. Intellectual Property
- The App, including its design, features, and branding, is the intellectual property of Critix Media Oy.
- You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or reproduce any part of the App without permission.
9. Liability Disclaimer
- We provide Henga "as is." We make no guarantees about availability, performance, or uninterrupted access.
- We are not responsible for user behavior or any content exchanged via the app.
- You use Henga at your own risk.
10. Modifications to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify users through the App or by email.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Disputes will be handled in the Finnish courts, unless otherwise required by applicable EU law.
